However, every mouse pad may get dirty after using it for a period. So, how to clean your mouse pad? The following 5 methods are introduced and may be of any help to you.
Cleaning with detergent
Most mouse pads have a smooth and delicate surface.
Soak it in cold water for a while, and then apply some detergent to rub gently with your hands.
Don’t scrub-wash again and again in the same place, wash everywhere of the mouse pad, then rinse it with cold water, and then dry it.
Be careful not to wash roughly, otherwise the mouse pad will be wrinkled.
Cleaning with warm water
First, prepare warm water at about 30℃, then soak the mouse pad for about 20 minutes.
And then, you will see that the water is gradually turning black, and then gently press the mouse pad with your hands to squeeze out the dust inside.
Finally, rinse with cold water, don’t put it in the sun, and spread it in a cool and ventilated place.
If your mouse pad is of a metal material, it shall not be water-washed.
Find two clean small towels, dipping wetted a bit respectively, and wipe the mouse pad with the two towels in the same direction. Don’t dip the towels too wet, just slightly wet will be OK.
Then change another two dry towels to wipe the mouse pad again, so as to completely wipe the water off it, and then it will get clean when it is dried.
If your mouse pad is of cloth material, you can soak it with a small amount of soapy water for a while, and you will find that the water turns dirty; then sway and shake it in the water for a while, and rinse it.
Cleaning with washing powder
The cloth mouse pad can also be washed with washing powder. Dip some washing powder with your hand onto the dirty places of the mouse pad, and gently apply it evenly. When the bubbles appear on one place, you can change to clean another place.
Finally, rinse it in clean water.
That is the five ways to clean a mouse pad. You can choose an appropriate one to try.
